The
Peninsula Sports Camps, founded in 1972, has conducted basketball,
soccer and baseball camps for over 50,000 youngsters. Tom Maier, the
camp director is one of the South Bay's most prominent basketball
coaches with over 600
wins and 4 CIF titles. He is a certified teacher who holds a master's
degree from USC in physical education with a specialty in sports administration.
He has been running sports camps throughout Southern California for
over 35 years and his number one goal is self-improvement for every
camper. Coach Maier is also the highly successful Varsity Basketball
Coach at Redondo Union High School.Each camp will be coordinated by one of our outstanding coaches. Andy Furuto (Peninsula Basketball Camp), Bruce Myhre (Peninsula Soccer Camp) and Shawn Talbott (Peninsula Baseball and Softball Camp). It is to their credit that the Peninsula Sports Camps have been acclaimed as one of the best camps in Southern California. Assisting them will be a group of outstanding coaches and professional speakers..
